Participants enter a high fidelity managerial environment where they must respond to a variety of situations and information via emails, instant messages and files. The familiar email interface creates an immersive experience in which participants can practice the main form of digital communication found in today's work environment,

Assess Knowing & Doing

Provide Objective & Actionable Feedback

After the simulation is complete, participants receive a report containing relative, specific, and tailored feedback on how they performed and how they can improve. The feedback report paints a clear picture of current skill levels and identifies areas in continued need for improvement.

  • Overall Performance - percentile score compared to the population
  • Developmental Index - describes general skill proficiency
  • Individual Skill Scores - percentile scores for performance on stimuli relative to the skills measured

Guide Individual Development 

Participants are guided through the creation of an Individual Development Plan that incorporates S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound) and developmental tactics to improve skill proficiency. The Individual Development Plan enables participants to efficiently move from feedback to action.

Decades of research on leadership development and performance feedback have identified four criteria that must be met by an instructional tool to successfully promote meaningful development in students.

Streamline the Assessment Process

Modeled after a managerial in-basket exercise that is common to assessment centers, this simulation-based assessment is designed to be completed in less than 60 minutes. This allows participants to avoid the high costs and large time commitments often associated with behavioral and non-technical assessments.

Foster Accurate Self Awareness

Participants complete a brief self-assessment to gauge their perceived skill levels, which are then compared against their actual performance in a skill gap analysis after the simulation is complete. A self-awareness score is also generated to reflect the accuracy of participants' self-assessment.
