From Talk to Action: How to Leverage Feedback for Leadership Development

A recording of the webinar with accreditation expert, Dr. Erich Dierdorff

Nearly every business school program purports to “develop future leaders.” Yet, the most effective tools to develop leadership skills are very rarely used, beyond a handful of super-resourced elite programs. One striking example is the scarcity of multi-source feedback instruments (“360 surveys”) in most business school curricula. This scant use exists even though substantial empirical research supports their effectiveness and few other tools can provide the external assessment data needed to gain critical leadership skills. Recent developments now suggest that such a valuable tool need not be limited to a select few institutions.

In this webinar, Dr. Erich Dierdorff provides a “how to” discussion about ways your school can leverage 360 surveys to improve the leadership skills of your students. Through research evidence and real-life examples, Dr. Dierdorff will outline practical approaches for effectively and efficiently integrating the developmental feedback that is essential to meeting your school’s mission of developing tomorrow’s business leaders.
